"The Yoga of Being" means mindful, meditative practice that leads into the depths of the yoga path. It combines yoga and the Alexander Technique.
Our everyday life is often so fully packed with activities that in the heat of the moment we miss the most important thing: our being. However, if we act without connection to this source, without awareness, we create states of pressure, stress and exhaustion. On the other hand, if we find contact with the true being - and all yoga exercises lead there - we experience peace, freedom, security, unconditional love and infinite vastness.
This inspires us to act calmly and meaningfully in everyday life.

Yoga with Olivia is the most mindful, gentle and yet intense yoga I have experienced. The smallest correction, the gentlest touch of Olivia and already I know, I feel, aha, so the asana should be, so it feels good. Special are the instructions of her figurative language (e.g. when I practice the dog, I now always think of the roof of a Black Forest house), the breaks between the asanas, the tracing and last but not least the meditation practice. All this makes yoga with Olivia a source of energy and calm.

My decision to start the training with Olivia was based on my yoga experiences with teachers who had been trained by Olivia. The training has been a great enrichment in my life. In my search for a suitable training place, I met Olivia, who was recommended to me by my yoga teacher. Already after the first lesson I was very taken with her way of teaching yoga. The clarity and calmness, the meditative alignment and the body-oriented instruction of the asanas convinced me. There are many aspects for me that make Olivia and her way of teaching yoga special for me. I especially like the focus on meditation and the way she instructs it. With her help, I found a quick approach to meditation and have been practicing with joy ever since. After a difficult birth and decades of bad posture, I am in the process of widening myself with the help of yoga and step by step evolving out to a more favorable, body-appropriate posture and a body- and joint-appropriate use of the same. The fact that Olivia also teaches Alexander Technique enriches the yoga training immensely and her request to never practice without vision causes incredible progress. Already, after just under a year, I can feel and see significant changes in my body and psyche in terms of uprightness and everyday life. Olivia conveys the yoga philosophy with an ease and an actuality that convinces me very much. The yoga training has already changed me and broadened my view of myself and the world. I am very grateful for this valuable time and look forward to further learning and experiences.
